That is nice that they did that for that hacking but I read the other day that they've now had a second hacking happen that has endangered accounts?

I don't think it's taken the PSN thing offline this time but to have it happen again, already, is pretty disturbing.

I believe that was a non-Playstation related hack. Something to do with one of Sony's other setups. And now apparently Nintendo has been attacked.

Yes and all info I have seen says the welcome back offer is not 2 days but 30 days (July 2nd or 3rd).

Nintendo are the most clueless of them all when it comes to anything online it wouldn't surprise me at all if they're security made Sony's look good in comparison.

Wanna impress me hack live, MS has been the #1 target for groups like this for as long as there's been a Internet. They won't be as naive about security as Sony and Nintendo seem to have been

Considering how long it takes to download a full game a 2 day window seems extremely tacky to do

Has anyone with multiple PSN accounts on their PS3 attempted to download all the games?

Tracks your IP, guess you could do it if you had access to another line but it doesn't work from the same one

How paranoid should I be about the PSN hack? At first I thought I didn't have anything in my account but I looked and it had my name and address and my account name is my email.

The password I used on there was a junk password I only use for web forums and stuff, I have separate ones for serious things like banking/email etc.. I had used a credit card on there at one time but it expired in 09.

lol. You're kidding right? That post is naive.

As for lulzsec, they are getting a little full of themselves. The situation is getting like Pablo Escobar. He was so powerful that he thought he could do and get away with anything. Killing over 600 police, political figures, military, and more. Well, the US knew this guy was a terrorist and huge threat to the US. In turn, he is dead. lulzsec thinks they are too good to get caught. If the government decides to put the full force of the government into locating them. They will and they will find them.

Making a statement against a company that is doing something you don't like is one thing, but taking them down for several times in a row and then also attacking the FBI and other governmental sites. You're going to piss off some very powerful people who have incredible amounts of money and resources that they can put forth to find you.

I never was really that worried, still have not heard specifically if they did get full CC info or just the one number. I would just watch my bill closely on the card.
