agree BUT i remember he stated his first Cowboy stint going11-11 before getting the yips, its kicker thing much lie golfer it can go south quick. look at Mcpherson this year not quite the same.

No, keep winning no matter who is at QB. I say if we win with Rush, start him against Detroit as well.
I like Dak, but not 100% sold on him either.

Technically, Maher is followed by many others who literally stepped it up a notch this season. McCarthy has done an exceptional job thus far.

I believe in giving Kudos to players who are performing and making a difference. Maher has been a big part of us winning. I hope he can continue but thus far he has been getting the job done.

I expected the same Maher from a few years ago, thinking at that point in his career that a change was unlikely. I did like what he said about his time with the Saints last year, essentially that he learned to focus through the distractions. And it appears to be working for him. Most of his kicks have been right down the middle.

I wanted us to go after a different kicker at the end of the preseason, but gladly will accept being wrong about that.
