This defense would improve dramatically if they would just get rid of that kid.

He's blowing assignments .. missing easy tackles .. heck, on that fumble return by Spears, he was in front of THREE KC players and didn't touch a single one of them.

I agree, everytime i see him he's always getting blown up by a blocker, and doesnt even touch the RB. Bigger doesnt mean better.

That may be true but Roy hasn't done this every single game all season long .. I've been shocked at how many times game after game Shanle blows assignments and stands around doing absolutely nothing on plays yet continues to start.

He hasn't played near that bad but you guys that thought Dat was God's gift to linebackers can't look at it objectively.
 
What? Asking some you would think that Shanle and Fujita are huge step ups from Singleton and Dat. Sure doesn't seem like it. Doesn't even seem like they're even close.

Hey, I've not been on the Dat bandwagon. Why is it that people like you hate any player that's not your player? Can't you judge a player based on his actions and performance on the field?

Shanle sucks .. The only linebacker that has impressed me this year has been Bradie James and that was a pleasant surprise. So, before you start your agenda speeches like you are prone to doing, accept the fact that your guy sucks .. because in this case, he does. No agenda here, just easy observation.

I will say that I thought Dat was going to struggle in the 3-4. I bought into the Shanle's size thing. Dat surprised me with his ability to overcome his size. If he had not gotten injured and could have taken the pounding.. I'd definately say give me Dat any day. Shanle has only made a few plays since he's become the starter, and has wiffed on more than I can count. Even if he did just catch Parker from behind.

Also, in looking at the replay, he was standing around again .. no wonder he was able to make that play .. he wasn't doing anything else.
