There are many reasons why some sites or sources are banned on CZ.
For example, some are banned because their articles require subscriptions. Some are banned because they demanded we not allow their content on the site (ex: DMN/dallasnews). Some are banned because they or their representatives spammed the site in the past. Some are banned because they are well known for posting fake rumors and news.
Of course you may not realize sometimes that content or a link you posted is banned until after you post it. When you see it though, you need to edit it and remove the parts of it that either embed or link to block sites or sources.
If your post or thread contains any links to or embedded content from blocked sites, we have no choice but to remove the post or thread completely and that includes any replies to those posts.
