Just wanted to clarify that if you guys get info from an official media outlet or media twitter account, then just post the source for that outlet in the thread title. IE, Archer, PFT, Schefter, et al. No need to post rumor in the thread title.
If the info did not come from an official media outlet, but is posted by a staff-recognized member with connections (ex. SDogo, AdamJT), then "Rumor" is not necessary.
If the info comes from another board or you have not been recognized or acknowledged by the staff as a member with connections, then put "Rumor" in the thread title until the info is verified. Joke threads with Rumor in them will get deleted and the poster will be subject to a warning or infraction.
It is not the job of the membership to harass or browbeat those trying to legitimately make contributions to this site. If their info is proven false, that will be determined relatively quickly and the staff can update the thread title or delete the thread in its entirety. So please hang up your tar and feathers and enjoy this Free Agency frenzy.
