What's interesting to me from the entirety of that segment is it's the two former players as the ones who bring up Daks contract and downplay his draft status/other QB failures. I think the general consensus would be that it should be the opposite. Makes me wonder if more players around the league look to the guys with bigger contracts to perform more than we are led to believe?

Cousins is the same quarterback he always was. The situation and competition around him has changed. Not the quarterback.

Dak was overpaid for his talent level. Pointing out other QBs in a similar situation and not getting the same criticism accomplishes what exactly? They all deserve the same.

I've been known to play pocket pool before, especially in my younger years.

OK, the tweet has some validity/truth but only on a media level which is way down on my importance list.. I'm more worried about the coaching and management level which should be the most important then there is the fan level (which we all fall into).

So is coaching holding Dak to that high standard. Does he get his butt chewed out for late throws over the middle into strong defensive coverage by the coaches? Does he get chided for throwing the ball into the ground to an open receiver? Hmmmm. Inquiring minds and all that stuff! I don't care that he is making $40M and neither should the coaching, management, or any of us other than it qualifies him as a starting level NFL QB . . . period !

We as fans can blow off steam and bich because we are . . . very simply, fans. That's the team we have hitched our collective wagons to !

As far as I'm concerned most of the sportzzzz media can stick it where the sun don't shine as it is worthless. There are good tidbits of info that we as sports fans can somewhat increase out knowledge of the pro game with but for the most part it ( sportzzz media and all media for that matter) is sensationalism / clickbait / chit stirring / propaganda !

I don't love him (Dak), I don't hate him, I just hold him to high standards that I've held other Cowboy QB's to. On a lesser note I see other NFL QB's performance standards that I've witnessed.


I got just one thing to say as I've said for almost 6 decades .............. Go Cowboys ! Skrew the rest of 'em !
