Poll: Who do you hope starts at LOLB?

I prefer Al for today, for the obvious reasons, but Carp to be prepared asap to start.

I voted for Al Singleton. Today isn't the day to worry about the age of your players or where they were drafted. We can't afford to have a rookie cut his teeth in this one. Watkins' mistakes burned us in the Philly game, I'm sure Bill is still kicking himself about that one.

I would prefer Carp, just because we need to get him in the line up and seewhat he can do. HE has had half a season to learn the NFL game. A first round pick should be ready.

How can you not hope its Carp?

Hes a first round pick and is a great athlete and physically gives us what we need at that position.

If he can't do it then put Singleton in there but Carpenter needs to show something starting today.

The kids fast as heck for a big linebacker so don't be suprised if he produces some today.

Now's not the time for growing pains.

Carpenter. Bigger, faster, stronger, and for no other reason, I'm just selfish and want to see my #1 draft choice kick butt. :)

I have to go with Carp and hope the defensive calls are on target.

Knowing Bill's perfectionism re his young backers, I will be happy just not to see Bobby platooned as long as Bill had his #8 pick James Farrior - three years.

I have to agree with this. I'd like to see Carpenter get about 2/3 of the snaps.

Carpenter.

I wanna see what we have in him.

But, I can see starting Singelton considering we're playing against the Colts and that might be a little much to throw at Carp in his first start.

Wow... Didn't know Farrior sat that long. BP knows LBs.

Well, many have said in several cities he just doesn't know what round to draft them in. :)

Burnett.

The most athletically gifted of the group.

He's a victim of his own success....Parcells doesn't want to move him out of his current role.

You really think Burnett can play SOLB at 235 lbs.? I'd like a little more meat out there personally, although in this particular game, he could be a good one to use out there.

I just like the kid's energy level.

He's got a great burst off the corner...

And he's fast enough to help in pass coverage.

Bobby Carpenter because of the simple fact being the first round draft choice, having good coverage ability as a linebacker, his speed, and his blitzing ability.

no questions its Carpenter because we all want to see our 1st rd pick show he was worth it
