When they actually decide to blitz and our offense starts to sputter, we're going to want Zeke in there.

The thing is this isn't a false dilemma.

You use both of them. I used to think they should start Pollard and use Zeke to clean up. But really, Zeke sets up everything for Pollard. He's just better when he comes in after Zeke.

To be fair, in the first game, Moore was in a terrible rhythm as a play caller and put Pollard and others in a tough positions, but there's a time and place to use Zeke and a time and place to use Pollard.

Pollard redeemed himself tonight, which I was glad to see. Zeke wasn't as great as I hoped. But he did the dirty work and made the hard runs so we made sure they had to play the run.

So nice to see people in this forum who understand football more then just. "Pollard very very fast...me think Pollard run every play, Zeke slow...me no like Zeke"

Finally ditching the shotgun some and using Zeke in the I formation. Gets a look at the defense and his blockers then pick his hole. No lateral running please, he doesn't have that type of speed. Pollard can take it outside.

What if Zeke is saving his rookie burst for later in the season?
It's amazing, I've seen guys lose a step or two when theyre in their 30s but not mid 20s. Whatever happened to the AB show too? Show us that little keg.

I didn’t think Zeke was that bad. The two plays where the blockers whiffed(one was Martin) Zeke got hit as soon as he touched the ball. That was a total of 13 yards loss. I also do hate the delayed slow handoffs up center/left guard.

Pollard didn't exactly tear it up either. HE got his usual one big run though.

What was weird is that Zeke was again running decently...and almost he exact same time as last week....Moore pulls him for Pollard. There's some intentional pre=planned change going on. I am not sure I like it or not. He's finally subbing for Zeke...but it's an easy trend to spot if they keep it up.

I agree. Pollard should be the main back where Zeke should be more of the change of pace guy who is used in short yardage situations.

Not me ..

- i'd keep Pollard as a chance of pace type.
Much like Kamara was change of pace in his early years with the Saints, when Ingram had the starting nod, before he departed as FA.

- I'm not convinced Pollard is resilient and physical enough to be full time.
it's already been shown that he is still not a reliable blitz blocker that Zeke is,.so you would have to constantly design plays to where he
does not require the key blitz blocks .

- The big thing is how he would be schemed,, being used.
For one, Pollard's skill set needs to be used in pass game - that's something Kellen is horrible at designing when it comes to
the RBs.

- Whenever they do a very rare RB screen, it's incredibly sloppy, even the linemen look clumsily and late setting up
and it fails... a far different than even in the Scott Linehan days .

- Amazing K-Moore does not have a knack or feel for RB screens .. all he knows is those damn bubble screens
