Watch him coming out of the back field. More terrible officiating from the game last Saturday evening.

yeah that's pretty bad but he still had the ball hit him in the hands and he dropped it he did definitely didn't have a good game it's one of his worst games I mean we had no run game at all and it's bad enough and you go drop a pass but yeah that's just another one I mean we can go look at the ghost tripping call that should have went the other way we can go around all game and find reasons that the lions should not be crying they got plenty of gifts in that game,,,

Can’t tell from that clip if that warrants a flag

Has to be a tug on the facemask. The nfl did away w the incidental contact years ago on the face mask calls

Either way, TP has to catch the damn ball

Catch the ball and make a play! Yes, it was a foul on the play, but make the play TP.

I just rewatched the game and honestly there was so many missed calls in this game. I think Holding isn't even a penalty on the OL anymore. I saw Cowboys defensive players literally tackled an it wasn't called. Parsons got held just about every way known to man. But it wasn't just him. I understand the rules and if it is away from the play they won't ball is, but some of these holds pretty serious.

I saw this facemask penalty too. I thought he grabbed and turned Pollard's head when I saw it. That's a 15 yard penalty. But also Pollard should have caught that ball and he had room to run. If Dak put it out in front of him a little bit he was off to the races. Those are the plays Dallas was making earlier in the year but are just missing now.

I can’t fault Pollard on this one. It’s hard to catch the ball when your facemask is ripped to the side right before the pass arrives. He barely had time to reset his vision before the ball arrived.

I think the officials are being told to call holding less (and maybe less penalties overall). I just wish they'd get the memo that they are also supposed to do that for us.

Officials are going to miss some infractions. Their view may be blocked or they’re watching action in another area.

Missing this possible facemask is in no way on the same plane as calling tripping on the wrong team. Presumably, the official makes the call because he/she sees it. Screwing that tripping up only happens because the official didn’t see it clearly (maybe partially obstructed view) or only sees it in the peripheral vision. In either case, you do not throw the flag.

That's one thing that gives me some hope. The plays were there. We just missed on some of them (this drop and the Lamb fumble in particular). I think most of us would have been happy with a 34-20 victory over Detroit. The previous week, it was the fumble against Miami.

Turnovers happen, but when you lose the ball at the other team's goal line, that's a recipe for losing.

Yep. The League and officials may be reacting to the flagfest complaints.

And that happened in back-to-back games. I doubt that’s happened twice in any one year in a long time.

He couldn't see.
He got his head back around, but I can't tell how much the helmet stayed turned to block his vision. He does grab his face-mask afterward and shake it, but that might just be him saying, Hey, I got face-masked!

He did locate the ball, though, and get his hands on it, which would be an indication he saw it. I just don't know how well.
