Good stuff from Tony.
For his 1st game game, things picked up in the 2nd half with some longer runs. Great to see him have patience and a great hesitation and cut on his 1st TD.

I said I was not impressed with him in the 1st half, and stand by that. However, I did not think, his first action since his injury. So wonder if that played a factor in that.
Now need to see how he responds to a tough NYJ defense.

Hopefully Tyler Smith is a go for the game. That will be a huge plus.

He’s lost a step.

#37 ran him down from behind.

That wouldn’t happen last season.

Possibly. Don't think the angle on the play was favorable, but it happens to every back. No life burns brighter or shorter than an NFL running back.

Pollard should still be a top 12 back this season, but it's a Not-for-Long league.

Look at you with all high standards and critical of Pollard. LOL

Zeke has looked like garbage for years, yet you still touting him as a top 5 RB.

Im sorry, was Pollard NOT good enough for you? BWAAAAA!!!!

Talk about laughable. No one is buying your critical nonsense of Pollard.

You said Pollard would be affected by the injury and he would be bad in short yardage and GL situations. How did he look on those 2 GL TD runs to you?

Did he pass your high Zeke standards? :lmao::lmao2:

You embarrassed yourself for years with your hatred of Pollard and Zeke pomp. Telling me for years I had no idea what I was talking about. All for it to come true EXACTLY as I said it would.

Not my problem you cant handle the backlash for me having to listen to your drivel for 5 years.

You might get a little less flack if you stopped critiquing Pollard like he has to live up to some kind of laughable standard you DONT have.

You also embarrass yourself by acting like I am making things up or you never said them. LOL

You were the poster child for years on your Zeke love. No one is buying your total denial of your positions on Zeke and Pollard.

Until you acknowledge you got things completely wrong on both counts, I will continue to remind you about it.

Man up and it can all stop.

Looked pretty good for someone who many people in here wrote off. Just as he got better during the game he will be better each week. I expect him to get moe than 16 touches a game also.
The 14 rush attempts seems about the right amount as the season goes along. In the passing game, increase Pollard's targets to around 5 .

Good start for TP coming off a major injury, taking over the lead role and getting 2 TDs. He should get more confident as the season goes on.

it’s the injury.

It’s obviously robbed him of some speed.

I’d bet we are going to see 15+ rushes a game from Tony.

They want their Return On Investment.
