Pollard graded out better than Zeke last year in pass protection. He can get it done.
I don’t care about the grade, I know what my eyes told me and Zeke was the superior blocker. He never blew assignments but I saw Pollard blow assignments

Even Zeke would have a tough time doing it better. Pollard's block on Cooks' TD was a thing of beauty.

A safety coming on a blitz? I think Zeke puts him on his back. Still kudos are in order for Pollard. He has stepped in there and put his body on the line to save Dak multiple times this year. The downside is you can see it has taken some of the starch out of his body. He is simply not as explosive as RB1 as he was as RB2. Hopefully the bye week gives him a chance to get a couple of massages, heal up and be ready to run for a buck fifty vs the Rams, against whom I think he had his first career 100 yard game as a rook.

In the past yes, but certainly not last year

Frankly I think the graders got it wrong anyway. I think Pollard failed to even see or engage the blitzer or free runner far more often and as such didn't have the opportunity to "miss" the block or get run over by a 280 pound guy with a head of steam. It's like how they score errors in baseball. If a guy is slow as hell and only covers a few feet he never gets to balls and thus never commits and error. Another guy who is fast as hell and covers half the outfield gets to 20 times more balls and drops some that he by rights never should have gotten to anyway and as such "grades out" as a lesser fielder. But if you watch the games you know better.

Are the holes there yet? No

The team has been cutting back the intensity of his use...is he a professional or escuse?

How long and was running skills shown on his 60 reception, the longest completion?

The disheartening thing about that play was that a guy caught him from 5 yards back. I think in years past when he was "the fresh guy" that's a house call.

But to your first point.. Uh no.. there absolutely are not any holes for him to work with very often. Many of us complained about this the last couple of years and people blamed Zeke. This line has not done a good job with the between the tackles run plays for the last two plus seasons. That's a problem that needs to get fixed if they're going to do ANYTHING in the playoffs. I just don't know what they can do at this other than hope more time on the field as a unit allows them to get better at it.

Huh again?
To again dumb down for your vanity...NO, he's not Alan Ameche. He did his job well...you still unable to acknowledge that instead to rush to complain? Don't play around like one doesn't really understand a good play in sport and trash for a non-applicable reason.

Not every body is missing football knowledge or fail to acknowledge when someone does a good team job. Now, go back to one's crying for a trophy right this second. How long has it been for the Lions? Are they playing good right now? What does that mean when the Cowboys are compared?

Never mind, go back to team crying...sorry guy, I'm a fan first. UNDERSTAND? :starspin:

His size player can easily squat 600 pounds and leg strength determines ability to affect a large player. How many approaches come by a 350 defender comes by a greater approach than 5 yards? Direction by the running back can be diverted if trained correctly on procedure.

100 you beat me to it... the truth is they better use Rico and other dudes more on these traditional run pays and dirty work or TP is an average rb1 as he is now..no excuses..they are way overusing this guy and its obvious, hes not the same.. he hasn't been since the end of last year 3.8 yards per carry 51 yards per game, no tds no explosive plays, hurt twice and hes banged up again ALREADY.

that turf isn't really greener on the other side is it meat on the bone guys??? :)n..when the focus is on you and you have to actual be on the field twice as much to block, decoy, and get dirty runs all of sudden you look average...

Fantastic. Glad to see we aren’t wasting all 10M of the cap space he cost us this year.

What you mad about and what you inferring to now (team crying, fan first, squat skills) warrants another Huh? But all good. You made a point.....I guess.

It's rare you see a great play without these others guys doing a terrific job. Hats off to all the blockers and the other receivers etc to make this play happen.
