So today we have a pollen count of 9,369 particles of pollen per cubic meter. The state record before this week was:6,013 in 1999. So for whatever reason our pollen count,(which is ALWAYS bad in Georgia) is much much higher than ever before. This is brutal.

How are the rest of you guys fairing?

Oh BTW: Our pollen count is 9,369(which is a 11.20 out of 12). Eugene Oregon: (.90 out of 12).

I need to move lol.

Thankfully it doesn't affect me

You are lucky.

Where do you live by the way? I am curious if it's just Georgia with record highs, or if it's a trend?

I didn't have allergies until about a year ago. Now I have them every freaking day and it doesn't matter what the pollen count is.

btw, the only thing worse than Flordia is George. (/wink Wimbo ;) )

North Carolina is gonna be getting really bad too about now. Glad I'm away from there during that! (miss it otherwise)

My nose turned into a liquid drip today...I guess that explains it.

I don't think you should move because of the pollen. Isn't the SE US a humid SOB?

I know KC is and I will likely never move back into that area after having lived there for a while before moving back west.

Humidity is probably the closest thing to hell that we have in the US.

I'd rather be cold than be in a humid climate. At least cold you can bundle up. When it's human, even the AC feels like it's pissing on you because the air is so moist.

This last week or so has been terrible hasn't it. My clothes are wet before I get to work. Sometimes I'll run the A/C just to give me a 15 minutes break before I get there. We've had almost 2" of rain the last couple of days and I'm hoping that dryer air moves in after this system moves east of us. Otherwise we are looking at a brutal next few days.

I don't like George either, but leave him out of this.
