Possible WRs that can take offense up a notch: Cooks or OBJ

Houstons are willing to move on from Cooks and the man has put up 1,000 yard just about every franchise he went to. With Zeke dealing with injuries, the front office needs to add more weapons to keep this team rolling. His deep threat and slot play is a perfect compliment to the running game and 12 personnel set.

Houston just gave him a 2 year extension. I like the WR. Thats just not something a team does if they're looking to trade a player.

OBJ is out until mid-December.

Cooks is always interesting. Still confused by his extension

Yeah my biggest worry in dealing for Cooks is Houston probably needs a team to make it worth the cap hit they take on next season. Throwing a 3rd their way probably doesnt do that.

Maybe makes if a better trade a team knowing they have him locked down for 2 years.

Cooks..
My opinion may sound silly..but I don't like the basketball nature of a guy waiting for a contender and signing with them as a way to get an easy chip or get into the playoff. I'd rather have Cooks..gets traded , shows up every year and consistently gets 1000 yards and is relatively healthy.

Eagles are stacked at WR but I could the Giants as a landing spot for Cooks.
Eagles are stacked at DL but just grabbed Quinn. They have unlimited cap space and draft picks, and a desire get every player they think might help them. I posted this as a semi-joke, but I'm thinking it might happen.

The 16M is just money that would have been his 2022 salary if they didn't push the cap hit forward.

The new team would be responsible for his guaranteed 18M salary in 2023.
- 2024 salary is 13M but not guaranteed.

Those WRs are too pricey for this duo. I do believe they think Gallup, Washington and eventually Tolbert coming back are the ones they are counting on. With of course Noah Brown. Also they feel CeeDee is a #1 receiver.

I e been hearing Denver and Jerry Jeudy are not getting along very well. I’m sure he’d be way too expensive though.

I’d take KJ Hamler over Jeudy
That would work. I think Jeudy has more upside, but Hamler is probably ahead of him right now. What I’ve heard from some of the talking heads is that Jeudy lacks maturity. What? An immature WR? Tell me it isn’t so. LOL.

Houston will be responsible for that 16M signing bonus in dead cap. And like you said, the team getting him has him locked up for 2 years. They're going to want something good in return to make up for that.

What have exactly the 2nd rounder KJ , 3rd round Tolbert of 4th rounder Wright have done to justify keeping picks.
