26) CB Deonte Banks - Maryland
58) TE Sam LaPorta - Green Bay Packers
90) RB Zach Charbonnet - UCLA
129) WR Jonathan Mingo - Ole Miss
169) G Andrew Vorhees - California
212) DL Jaquelin Roy - LSU
244) S Jordan Howden - Minnesota

CB is needed for leverage with Diggs, Gilmore, Lewis all becoming FA.
TE -- Dallas loves them some TE and Jerry thinks this one is the one to replace Schultz for Dak.
RB-- gotta have a bell cow type that gives them a little bit of leverage against Pollard.
WR - they want CD long term, but don't want to be without totally if he does leave
G -- Can get a first round talent in the 5th if they can just wait a year or two for him.
DL-- too many people griping about the DL -- look, we put in draft capital.
S -- Kearse and Hooker will be coming up soon......this guy is a diamond in the rough.

I think this is closer to what Dallas will do.

First round I’m going with what the latest rumors are. Myers Notre Dame.
The second round strikes me. As a bad position but I want an offensive lineman in the third row I believe Charbonnet will be gone I don’t want the next highly rated running back. After that I honestly don’t know enough to have an opinion

Leverage? I don't get it. The player takes what they offer or Dallas has drafted a replacement? How does that work for the THREE corners who will be free agents?

Jonathon Mingo per NFL.com
Weaknesses
  • Ordinary career production.
  • Lacks juice out of breaks to separate from tight man underneath.
  • Feet are efficient but lack suddenness.
  • Unable to find a second gear to run down deep balls.
  • Needs to get head around quicker on seam and over routes

Lacks the juice for separation. How is that different than last year with most of the receivers?
Andrew Vorhees, so the team waits a couple of years for him to become what they need now? This line was falling apart last year and they are going to put Tyron back out there again this year after seeing the debacle last season.

Didn't say it was what I would do, but what I think they will do.
Dallas needs to sign CB's, and they basically can demand what they want unless Dallas has players behind them that they can start if they decide to go elsewhere. IE, if they draft another good CB, then signing Diggs means Gilmore can move so long as they still have Bland, new CB, etc.

So who do you think Dallas will draft? Not what you think they should do, but what do you think they will do?

1. Steve Avila (G/C)
2. Daiyan Henley (LB)
3. Tyjae Spears (RB)
4. Aidan O'Connell (QB)
5. Jake Moody (K)
6. Brayden Willis (TE)
7. Durrell Johnson (EDGE)

I think Mayer, Wright and Robinson will be gone and we could definitely see Julius Brents on this list when all is said and done, but these are all players Dallas Has shown interest in.

NFL Mock Draft Database, they just updated their big board and there are fewer premium players on day 3. Just want to add for me "right" is how the player does e.g. games active/games started/receptions/rushing yards/tackles etc. Ideally they would get three years but if I do another review of this years class next year I might add that to the thread.

1. Jahmyr Gibbs RB/WR Alabama Speed merchant mismatch player
2. Steve Avila OL TCU OG/OC
3. Cedric Tillman WR Tennessee Michael Pittman clone
4. Luke Schoonmaker TE Michigan Dawson Knox clone
5. Terell Smith CB Minnesota
6. Tyler Lacy DL Oklahoma State
7. Jay Ward DB LSU

Love these players.

I had to be a little contrarian, as there are some folks already taking Izzy a round up and Mingo a round down.
Schmitz, may or may not be there. I figure him or Tippmann will be available. Either one works for me.
