Ha ha, what a joke some of these are. Not that they really matter, but some of the explanations are great.

Giants at #2 - "Every team has a clunker or two to get out of their system".
Getting shellacked by a 2-3 team but stays in the top 2, even after OT with the Bungels.

Washington at #4 - "It's not like this team just got bad overnight"
No, they lost to one of the worst at home and stayed in the top 4.

Dallas at 5 or lower - Granted Washington beat them by 2 and they lost to another 4-2 team in OT. - I saw a pole that had them at 12.

Amazing. When they win in St Louis, I'm sure it won't be by enough.

The media's obsession with Dallas (ESPN) has pretty much given the Giants and Commanders a free pass for getting beat. The Giants' defense was lambasted.

Any poll in any sport at any time of the year is worthless. Post season play is to blame.

it's funny, Washington jumps up 8 spots in the power rankings for beating Dallas, who was #1 on many people's rankings

but when they lose to the worst team in the NFL, they only drop 2 down
