So Warner, McNabb, and Elie Manning are alternates and Romo is not even listed.

Seriously???

So Romo is not even one of the top 6 QBs in the NFC this year???

It's not like he was going to play in it anyway ;)

It's assumed that Romo is either the second or third alternate. The Cowboys did not announce their alternates this year, and none of the reporters in Dallas have bothered to find out.

on Talkin Cowboys or the Lunchbreak they said it went McNabb, Warner, Romo, Manning for NFC.

Brees
Favre
Rivers
McNabb
Warner
Romo

So, of the six NFC quarterbacks whose teams made the playoffs, Romo's own peers have judged him to be the worst.

You need to replace Rivers with Rodgers.

You make a good point though. If you look at when the voting was, I could understand why Romo is 6th on that list. It is up to him and his leadership of his team to change the mind of those peers.

I'm looking forward to seeing him make it happen.

The Cowboys came on just right for us and too late for honors.

On another note I vote your sig for the best on the board. I love Otto Graham and Johnny U. Tow of the best QBs to ever play this game. To see Romo in their company should alert those who don't appreciate Romo enough to a different assessment.

Romo is on the way to the HOF esp if Dallas does well over the years.

Thanks.

But on the first note, it's not like Romo came out of nowhere. He already had the NFC's 4th-highest passer rating weeks before the vote. Players and coaches put McNabb and Warner ahead of him.

You could go to a movie.

You could read a book.

You could go for a walk.

You could take a trip with the family.

How's that for a list of alternatives to watching the Pro Bowl? ;)

:laugh2:

I was thinking the same thing. In fact, the list could be MUCH longer than that.
