Pro Bowl

I remember when they actually played a game and the players tried. I guess you don't?
No I watched those games, a lot them they players went about half effort/speed. There was no good solution for this, no one is going to risk millions in an injury to play a meaningless game. Now if the NFL paid them say 10 million each to play it maybe an injury clause that said they would pay out in case, sure they might go full effort but still probably not.

I remember watching them in the seventies and they actually hit each other.

I too remember those days. However, back then many had offseason jobs because the NFL didn't pay nearly what it did today. I have Cowboy media guides from the 70s, players bio's read "works as/at X in the offseason"...

Not nearly as much to lose back then as there is today for them, sad but true.

which is why this farce should have ended decades ago.

Just name the Pro Bowl players and that is it; just like the All Pro and MVP and so on.

and THIS way you do not have all these injury and playoff replacements being able to call themselves Pro Bowlers
