That actually looks pretty good. I especially like the depth on the OL. Talk about deep! Gurode can play two positions, Kosier can supposedly play about three, Pettiti maybe two. Curious about Glymph @ LB, though. He has shown some things, but I think Fowler may make it w/Glymph going toward the practice squad.

jjones21, good list.. the only one i definitely disagree with you on is Sean Ryan. I think that Tony Curtis will beat him out for that spot..

mperfection, who is long snapping the ball on your team? other than that, yours is a solid list too..

the biggest questions for me, in regards to roster predictions:
1. do we keep 9 or 10 o-line?
2. do we keep 8 or 9 LBs?
3. do we keep 5 or 6 WRs?
4. do we keep a KO specialist?
5. do we create a spot for Polite?
6. do we keep 6 or 7 DL?
7. do we keep 2 or 3 QBs?

the answers to these questions would make guessing these rosters a lot easier..

thnx.....in regards to Ryan over curtis i saw way to many dropped balls out of curtis against the niners to keep him if u dont' want Ryan thats cool but i dont' like curtis

and for polite i think he has shown he can catch reliably out of the backfield, he can run for tough yards, and he is a good lead blocker.
he has earned his spot

i think maybe we go 3 deep at TE keep Polite. and mabye keep an extra linebacker or maybe even Fabini but id rather the extra linebacker.

Glymph hasn't shown anything since first preseason game against 2nd/3rd stringers so I'd keep Hoyte over him cause Hoyte continues to improve. Glymph could go to the PS if he makes it thru waivers.

Also because (I think) Marcus Coleman goes on "suspended list" for first 4 games of season, he technically doesn't count against our 53 man roster (don't know about the period between 8/31 & 9/10) so his vet pay isn't guaranteed and we then have one week after he comes off suspended list to play him/let him go. If my wrong, doubt Parcells keeps him.

Man, that OL scares me, but, they have played surprisingly well in the pre-season.

9 OL, cut Fabini and sign him again later.
9 LBer's, hoyte/fowler get last spot
6 WR's 2 start, may drop one later
Yes keep a KO specialist, but maybe not IF Vandy kicks this week
Keep Polite
6 DL, 7 is too many for 3 starting spots
2 QB's

I'd like to see Glymph stick but that leaves us with only 3 ILB on the roster. So I think it's Fowler or Hoyte. Considering Hoyte's special teams ability, I think he's the ninth LB.

I also don't think Bill will keep six WR and there's no way we go into the season with only three TE on the roster. Polite has the team made too.

I see it like this...

QB (2)
Bledsoe
Romo

RB (3)
Jones
Barber
Tompson

FB (1)
Polite

TE (4)
Witten
Fasano
Hannam
Ryan

WR (5)
Glenn
Owens
Crayton
Hurd
Rector
(Green to PS)

T (5)
Adams
Columbo
Pettiti
Mcquistan
Fabini

G (3)
Kosier
Rivera
Procter

C (2)
Gurode
Johnson

Defense

S (4)
Williams
Watkins
Davis
Elam

CB (5)
Newman
Henry
Glenn
Reeves
Jones

LB (9)
Ware
Ellis
James
Ayodele
Burnett
Carpenter
Boiman
Singleton
Hoyte

DE (4)
Spears
Canty
Ratliff
Hatcher

NT (2)
Furguson
Johnson

Special

K (2)
Vanderjagt
Suisham

P (1)
Mcbriar

Snapper (1)
