the weather in green bay is 8 degrees and shaub has 199 yards passing and arron rodgers has 138 seems like the weather isn't stopping them from passing and its 17 degrees colder in greenbay and 7mph winds

It's not the cold, it's the wind that's important...

1:17 Tim MacMahon: Per weather.com, the winds are gusting west to northwest at 28 mph. Not exactly ideal conditions to throw the football around the yard, especially with James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley chasing Romo.

1:17 Brian Davis: I think Romo could throw 35-40 times regardless of the wind. But holy moly it's chilly.

But but but Wade says wind is an advantage when throwing.

yeah i hear ya folks but i think we'll be fine.

we have a hell of better chance to score on pittsburgh then they do on us.

all this talk about what dallas will be able to do against their defense but what are they gonna do to ours??

none of their wr's scare me and their qb is a bus driver at best and i had willie parker on my fantasy team( and dont get me started about him  )

i just cant justify pittsburgh scoring anymore than tampa bay did against us

and im really being honest here 20-10 dallas

Romo doesn't throw a terrible amount of touch passes...even his "touch" passes are near bullets. I don't think the wind will effect his throwing so much as it'll effect our kicking.

And can Folk get a touchback on the kickoffs today? Come on!

Good morning from downtown Pittsburgh, and no one was lying about the projected weather for today’s 4:15 p.m. (EST) kickoff here at Heinz Field between the Cowboys and Steelers. The temperature, right now, at 10:36 (EST) this morning is 21 degrees. But here’s the deal, the wind is blowing 15 mph and gusting up to 26, meaning the wind chill is 8. Eight!

Oh, and there the little detail about 70 percent chance of show, accumulating up to one inch. We got a taste of snow flurries last night while walking back from a downtown sports bar after watching Manny Pacquiao carve up Oscar De La Hoya. Place was packed. Folks like their boxing here in Pittsburgh. Nice dusting.

And don’t think any of this is going to change as the day goes on. The projected kick-off temperature is 21, and with the winds still whipping through the city, dropping the wind chill to seven degrees – and still a 50 percent chance of snow.

Lovely.
