#1 all time in D-1 College Football passing yds and TDs.....and he is a Texan who plays at a Texas university....woooohoooo

9 TDs in a game is just ridiculous...

Oh look, I think he just threw another TD.. lol

Is John Jenkins the head coach of Houston again? He got his 5th TD about 4 or 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter. I can't believe the coach had him passing the ball enough to get 4 more TDs in that game.

The incredible thing is they put up 73, even though they reigned in the hosses in the 4th quarter. They could've easily broken 90.

I put a little wager in Houston-27, because I figured they'd win the game 56-20 or something like that. I can't believe Rice scored 34 points and then still lost by (almost) 40! :D

Plus they kicked Marshall's but last week by putting up 63 points.

Crazy stuff.

I watched the game (instead of the World Series) and it wasn't like Keenum was throwing bombs all over the place. Those TDs were filled with loads of YAC.

Patrick Edwards, the main receiver had 5 TDs for 318 yards.

The announcers were cracking me up. "And Edwards goes for ANOTHER TD."

Rice just sucked last night. It was like watching 7-on-7.

They played a heck of a first quarter. But even then you knew the Cougars were liable to explode at any moment. And of course they did.

I saw highlights of the game......and he was throwing the seed all over the place. His deep balls were spot on, hitting his receivers in stride. Yes, there was lots of YAC, but he also hit deep TDs as well.

Congrats on beating pop-warner teams Keenum, you're a real winner!!!

Didnt Keenum beat Texas Tech two years ago?

Yep, doesn't make him a great QB though. He did it against a Leach defense.

I have heard several different draft experts on Houston sports radio say he won't be a high draft pick. I'm not sure their exact criteria or what they didn't like about him but that's what they said. I think it's just Luck & then all the rest.

From what I've read, it's because he doesn't have ideal metrics...Not particularly tall, doesn't have an NFL arm, and his QB mechanics are average. Bascially he could project to being a good backup QB.

That's just from scanning the web. I hope he proves them wrong. He's a good guy.

Maybe ESPN can give him his own draft watch page and help him out with his mechanics.
