One of my favorite Cowboys a 2 time All American at Michigan ( he beat the Pokes MI Jinx ) he flies around the secondary and let’s face it the defense is better when’s he in the secondary .

The man has come back from a serious foot injury and Sunday in Cleveland as always he’s in on the action .

I remember a Saints home game in Dallas when a late 4th quarter INT off a Drew Brees pass sealed a 13-10 win . Offense had trouble scoring , surprise not . Defense bailed them out . He’s played for Marinelli DQ and now Zim . And I’m certain they all love having him on D .

Zimmer's tendency to play a bit more zone suits Jordan's game. His best attribute is seeing the play develop in front of him, reacting quickly and making the tackle or a PBU.

he had several text book tackles that was impressive. he wasn't trying to hurt anyone with just trying to hit hard, just proper tackling and bring them down.

Yep, he's an unsung hero, and playing Nickelback doesn't get the highlight reels of the ball hawking corner.

Always seems to be on the bubble, but seldom let's us down.

So I guess he's a "Rockstar"?

Michigan and Harbaugh sold their soul to win the natty. Now the tab is due. Recruiting violations and sign stealing that makes Bellicheat blush.

He's playing so much better than when he was a penalty machine a couple of years ago. He signed a 1-year deal to return for this season, so he playing for a new contract. Either way, good for him....

Yea he played great and did a great job tackling as well. There were some screens that would have gone for 15+ yards if Lewis doesn't make the play. I was upset the Cowboys didn't re-sign Gilmore thinking we could move Bland back to the slot but I think having Lewis there is better for physicality.

I have liked JLew since he got here but his time on this roster would have been cut short by a few fans in his time if left up to them. Happy he is a year removed from coming back from injury. He has attitude and loves playing the game and is hard not to root for especially in a year in which we are "rooted".

Lewis is gutsy, tough , scrappy and feisty...he's a pure slot who has proven he had much better INT ballhawk skills than the overrated Scandrick.

althoygh Lewis has had his slot CB role challenged twice during his career role here ...per Anthony Brown and Deron Bland .

Question: once Bland returns as outside starter..and provided rookie Carson co tinues to play well, who.should be the 3rd CB...Carson or Lewis.??

Still lol at the posters when the dude came back from LVE breaking his foot and him being a tad off wanted him gone.
Watch our defense from two years ago before and after that Lions game
