Just a look at some names right now of guys we could that could go in that mid first round range.

Derrick Harmon, DT Oregon
Could be DT2 in this draft. Gives me a Muhammad Wilkerson vibe. Very good size and length for a 3T (6'5 310-315). Should be a disruptive player day 1 with upside to be a Williams/Madubuike caliber 3T

Nic Scourton, DE, Texas A&M
Rugged edge who is equally strong against the run as he is a pass rusher. Could be a Danielle Hunter type DE. He is the player right now you hope Kneeland is in 3 years

Luther Burden, WR, Missouri
Interesting WR prospect who alot of mocks have in the top 10 right now. I dont know about that personally. Is he a #1 WR in the NFL?. I don't know about that, but he would be lethal #2 here who can threaten every level of the field. Burden's stock will be an interesting watch because he is one of those guys that could get undervalued or overvalued

Ashton Jeanty, HB, Boise State
Your 2016 over correction. Not to say Jeanty isnt an excellent prospect and would instantly improve our running game. Excellent combination of vision, balance and speed. He'll probably run for 1,300 yards next year wherever he is drafted

Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
Freak of nature who supposedly ran a sub 5.0 40 at 360 pounds. He is listed at about 340 pounds now. Excellent run defender with a quick first step to go with rare power. He has some pass rush production at Michigan but will need to develop more of a plan to be a pass rusher in the pro's

Malaki Starks, S, UG
Versatile S. Exceptional athlete with adequate TO production. Can play CF, cover the slot, and play in the box in run support. Could be a star, or could a good at everything, great at nothing guy.

James Pearce JR, DE, Tennessee
Pearce is an interesting player. Smallish right now at 245 pounds, but has the frame to grow and should be able to play at 260ish without sacrificing his athleticism. Its worth nothing DeMarcus Lawrence was 245 pounds when we drafted him. He has alot of star DE traits though. I like him more if we are drafting past 15. Scourton if we are picking higher than 15

Walter Nolan, DT, Ole Miss
Explosive penetrator at 3T. Where Harmon gives me a Muhammad Wilkerson vibe, Nolan gives me a Madubuike vibe. Maybe prime Ratliff. I prefer Harmon if we go 3T, but Nolan is an excellent consolation prize

Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky

Starting to turn into the enigma of this draft cycle. Very interesting player. Huge and moves well for his size. Despite his size, is much better when asked to penetrate as opposed to anchor. Had great production in 2023 before being asked to anchor more in 2024. You may want him a little leaner in thr pro's to max him out.

Not listed because I think they are to likely to go top 10: Kevin Banks, Mykel Williams

Just missed: Jalon Walker

Jeanty will go top ten
Walker is my pet cat but 3T seems his best place and we need a monster or at least a concrete plug at NT
IF he is there grab Grant

I want to see him in the NCAA playoffs before I make him my pet cat but I like the potential of Harmon the big defensive tackle from Oregon.

If this is the list I’m choosing from I’m leaning Burden / Harmon / Starks. Jeanty is in play if we’re picking in the teens and the board is wiped.

Guys could rise, guys could drop. However I think this is likely the field we are looking at

Don't see it personally. I think he is a day 2 guy. Bottom of the 2nd
I just thought it was interesting that Brugler and Kiper both put him in that range. Again, I’ve never seen him play (highlights excluded). Love Harmon, he seems like such a disrupter. Wonder if Graham could drop, his play is impressive but NFL loves measurables and he doesn’t seem that big and don’t know if he will test well.

Could drop to the backend of the top 10, but can’t see him falling outside

Don't see him dropping out of the top 10. Can play 1T and 3T and moves very well at 320

Once again testing well is stupid when you see what a player does on the field
THAT is what we got in Mazi; athletic freak but not a great PLAYER

100%

My thing is if we’re picking 15 my targets don’t change much. Someone always slides that’s a stud. Aka Lamb.

Don’t get cute - if someone that’s a top 10 players falls and we’re picking 15ish just take him. OL / DE / DT / CB / WR - all of those positions can make sense.

Arnold was that guy last year but made zero moves in FA so had to force OL.

I definitely dont see Graham testing poorly
Don’t think he will test as elite. Watching him it’s obvious he is a player. But what if he runs in the 5s, is really 6-1 with a less then ideal wingspan. My hope is this will allow him to fall with the hope Dallas can draft him.

I doubt any of that will happen. 5.0 is good for a player his. 5'1 or so may ding him a bit, but he wont run that
