Published My First Novel

I've written at least 23 books in my head. My problem is I never actually write them down so they can be published.

Maybe next time.

i'm waiting to hear back on the dusting off of an old idea i had where i've gotten some *incredible* help in it. it's basically a 24 minute indie movie about a man on death row who never confesses to a killing he was accused of. he was found at 2am in the park with his hand around a dead girls neck. he said he was drunk, as usual, and was trying to check for a pulse. didn't work well cause he was a lifelong alcoholic and no one cared anyway.

so in the last 2 weeks of his life they setup a series of interviews where a reporter with a story of his own confronts him to confess in a 3 part series 2 weeks out, 1 week out and then the night of his execution - a 1 hour interview each time. needless to say the first doesn't go well and there's a huge learning curve for both before the next interview. but once they start rolling the ending of one life does in fact mark the beginning of a new one through a strange way the prisoner, who always maintained his innocence, still takes responsibility for his overall life and how it led him to where he is today. 7 more sunsets after his 2nd interview and before he's put to death there's a lot of self analysis done by both parties as they struggle to justify their individual existences.

wow. i never quite put it like that before. :) anyway, i have a few more i need to work on like revelation 12. but we can't talk religion here so i'll let it go at that. :)

congrats man! quite an accomplishment and the rest is just gravy.

Integrity and morals never change.

Lol... So you lack morals and integrity if you ask for a little bump?

Books are bumped or put in the front of the store even if they haven't earned it yet all the time.

Anyway.... (Not a big deal)

I would say, without reading it, it is a big problem. Have you ever wanted to buy a product on Amazon, looked and it had like 3 reviews? What if the reviews were from people whop did not use the product? Now, if people read it, and give it 5 stars, it is no problem.

Okay, if you insist. I will give it five stars, but I don't have time to actually read it.

"Big" problem... "Big"... Really?

Not trying to change minds..... It's a book. Not high on the list of "big" issues if I buy it and dont like it.

I have been working on a book myself. It is a biography titled "Risen Star, the man, the myth , the legend". It tells the life story of one of the all-time great posters and the motivation that drives him to debate every topic and how he wins those debates. Anybody want to reserve a copy now?

already seen the movie...

That's great Welch! I don't have the imagination to write much of anything but I do admire anybody that can do any kind of writing.

Think that's great!

Were you not entertained?

Congrats on the accomplishment. Don't let the stupidity in this thread ruin your joy or take away from what you've done.

We have people here who are obviously are just jealous that they've never accomplished anything worth posting about.

The one that can do - do!
The ones that can't - criticize! (Can't, hate, etc)

Congrats.. And to the uptight it's a fiction novel, purely for entertainment, relax.. It's not that serious....
