I dont think we had Deion either...I remember us being up by 7 late in the 4th with Farve Driving smoothly. He got deep into our territory and than Teague picks him off and ran it back for a TD ending any hope they had of coming back.

I all so remember we had a huge RB playing for us that game. I think his name was Chancy or something. he must of been built like a LBer.

Deion did play in that one

Dallas 27, Green Bay 13 ...

Today, Favre nearly rallied the Packers from a 20-3 fourth-quarter deficit, driving them deep into Dallas territory in the final minute for the potential tying touchdown. But the game ended on a fitting note when former Packers safety George Teague intercepted a pass by Favre and returned it 95 yards for a touchdown with four seconds left.

With the Packers at the Dallas 25, Favre attempted to hit Antonio Freeman down the left sideline although Deion Sanders had blanket coverage on the play. Teague diagnosed the play, cut in front of Sanders, intercepted the pass at the Dallas 5 and raced untouched for the touchdown.

Ahh man, kind of the start of the bad times for Dallas, but this article brings back some great memories. From stealing it 3 times against Minny, to this last minute theft of Favre, to knocking TO off of the star, Teague was great.

I loved the 90's dominance of the Packers; try as they might, everyone wanted to crown Brett Favre and the Pack, the team of the 90's; they couldn't get it done against the true team of the 90's.

That wasn't Turkey Day, and it wasn't 1994, either.

* - playoff game
Blue Games= Brett Favre played

1994 Dallas did play the Pack and Garrett did QB because Troy and Pete were injured. Dallas fell behind in the game and in the 2nd half Garrett started connecting with Harper and Irvin down field. I know it was Thanksgiving because I was at the game.

I don't really belive in records like this, but I guess that's a good thing. If you watched the game against the Vikings, Favre basically threw two interceptions that ended up being touchdowns. There will come a game this season where you'll see the guy through 3 ints, and it just might be against us.

Brett Favre is 2-10 career versus Dallas. 0-8 in Texas Stadium. He has lost 3 playoff games to Dallas in Texas Stadium that are included in the 0-8

Including an NFC Championship in there, too.

I still have news paper articles about the loss there. I used to get alot of crap when I was a kid in school about being a Cowboys fan. At the time, I loathed everything about Green Bay. Those articles hung in my room for years, maybe even until highschool. They were like trophies, a talisman of the football gods.

i read in another thread about farve having trouble in Dallas. anybody know what his record is against the cowboys in Dallas?

I read a few days ago, he is 0-8. I think that includes a few playoff games also.
