Lenovo is good hardware. We just bought a great Lenovo with HDMI inputs outputs even though it's an AMD processor....it still gets the job done.

It also comes with a 3 year warranty.

Well between the 3 choices you posted there is literally no difference, because there aren't enough details on the processor. Need more details on the included processor as well as the included video card.

Can you post links to each PC?

You'd be better off disclosing your budget and let someone find you a better system.

How do you plan to get the games to your PC in order to stream them to your TV?

I won't go over $500

and that still hurts me

not budget wise - I see no use in spending that kind of money on a puter - that I use for Email - songs - message boards - and just general browing

but need something newer as I want to up grade to windows 7

no they are in my area
Well Newegg is doing free shipping on the system above which is $750 if you buy it straight from Dell.

I think if you're going with a manufacturer such as Dells, Gateways, etc that's a tough system to beat.

A reviewer on newegg said this about the system:

Pros: Price. With the Newegg's savings this pc was a steal. Design. Yes, a little on the big side, but the glossy case and its lighting it looks good. Specs. 1TB, Blue Ray, and 6 gigs of Ram for the price. Not to much bloatware. Had this pc up and running in no time. PC is super quiet. Laslty, the removable hard drive slot is perfect for doing backups and adding a media filled hard drive.

Cons: Windows 7 needs a ton of updates. It should come with SP1 insatlled. Tower a little big for my intended usage.

Other Thoughts: I have this PC in my living room connected to my large screen TV and 5.1 receiver via the HDMI cable. I also use a extended range mouse keyboard combo so I can work from my couch and liftop table. The sole purpose is to use it for Netflix, Blurays, and music in my entertainment room. With the added hard drive slot I have 3 TB of media and plenty of computing power to keep me happy at a great price. I am not a gamer so the graphics are sufficient for my needs. Newegg has this PC for peanuts and got it to my door in 3 days. I am surprised that not many people seem to be jumping at this deal.

Brand wise, I would just remove the Gateway from the list.

Lenovo (at least ThinkPads) are an IBM creation and are generally of high quality, but are business so don't think about playing 3D games on it. It will probably struggle with them. As for any other Lenovo models, I really don't know as I've never even seen one.

Asus generally are pretty good for almost anything, though the PC you named is good for exactly what you want it for, but if you expect daily PC use out of it as an actual desktop it will leave something to be desired. It's basically made to sit next to your TV and not other things.

Did you ever look at something like Google TV box? I think the Logitech Revue was just lowered to $99. Depending on how you are streaming the game, it might work for you.

Yeah I normally wouldn't recommend a Gateway myself, but for his needs and at his price point, that desktop seems to fit perfectly.

Dude, go to Frye's or Fry's ...whatever..they match any deal you find. Even TigerDirect. I got them to come off my computer simply because they don't want to lose sales.

And like nyc said, Lenovo isn't really for gaming. But you don't strike me as a wow guy. So, again, for the budget and the warranty that comes with it, Lenovo is a good choice imo.
