I have used System Suite as a firewall and virus control. I noticed the other day that it was off but when I tried to activate it, it replied:
An error occured when trying to start the NetDefense Firewall engine. Please wait a few seconds before attempting to re-enable the Firewall. Even though I have tried several times, I still get this message.
Any ideas as to why this occured and do I have to remove and reinstall to get it to operate correctly?


Thanks in advance for any help.
 
I'm not familiar with system suite, but general assumption would tell me that it's trying to launch an app that's not available. Have you deleted any folders/files recently?

You may want to check with support through the companys website, if all else fails...reinstall.
