That is just some of his work as a composer. The man produced tons of stuff. He was the producer for We Are The World. His work as a member of society eclipsed all his musical achievements.

I would have respected growing old a lot more in my youth if I knew then how much watching legends pass would hurt so much.

Rest in peace, Mr. Jones.

Quincy Jones' The Streetbeater is one of the best theme song composition IMO. (Sanford and Son theme song)

It has incredible depth with multiple compositions within it that are doing different things, but they are married together perfectly in The Streetbeater.

I literally keep it on a sound pad on my Rodecaster Pro II

Dang. What a legendary life he led. Quincy was instrumental in creating one of humanity's greatest music icons in Michael Jackson, along with countless other artists. Just being able to say you helped give rise to the King of Pop is an incredible legacy in itself.

Rest in Peace, Quincy.

The legend. Easily the most accomplished person alive at the time of his death. A beautiful mind. The beautiful thing about artists when they die their art lives on.
