Not to be too nitpicky but everyone keeps saying we haven’t beaten a team with a winning record. Didn’t the Jets have a winning record at 1-0. That’s more wins than losses.
Right now, Dallas is only a game and a half out.

So nice to be on the other end of these. We were on the wrong end so many times during the Garrett years.

Surprised me that it was that low for Irvin at 7. I remember Andre Johnson used to do it all the time and had 7 games like that in 2008 alone. CeeDee has 7 in his last 15 games. Playing All-Pro level for sure.

Used to love watching Andre Johnson play, too bad he played for such a bad team

Records can be illusory that early in the season.

You have to stay with the narrative. As soon as the Cowboys win the opponent becomes crap and the game becomes meaningless.

Irvin played for a run first team that would shut down the passing attack and hand the ball to Emmitt the minute they got ahead in a game. He was never going to accumulate gaudy stats in that offense on a consistent basis. That's why the numbers he put up are actually more impressive than some guys who came later. Irvin in this "you must gently escort the receiver to the ground if you tackle them over the middle" era would put up 2000 yards and 20 TDs annually. So would Jerry Rice and a few others for that matter.

True, I thought it was funny that they were still pushing that narrative after the game. How we should be worried because we didn’t beat them bad enough. It’s like give it a rest.

Yeah the whole "there are a lot of questions about the Cowboys after this game" narrative was seriously contrived. I mean the Eagles have eked by in half a dozen games already this year in similar fashion and it's "That's what championship caliber teams do.. find a way to win without their A game.."

Yeah, it’s a complete double standard.

Every team plays Dallas like its a superbowl. Every team brings their best. Seattle was no different. Made for a GREAT GAME!

That was a great game. A little rough on the emotions but satisfying win.
