All goes back to the year Randy Moss signed with the Patriots. The prior offseason Packer GM Ted Thompson promised Favre that he would at least look into the possibility of signing Moss so Favre could make one last run at it. He didnt.

Prior to that, after Sherman was fired he also promised Favre he would at least bring in coach Mooch for an interview for the H.C job. He didnt. Favre felt betrayed in both situations. Add to that the drafting of his replacement Rodgers.

NO CLUE if any of this is true, but its the way Favre tells it.
