I heard the grumbles all training camp about how everyone couldn't believe Mr. Owens is 'faking' a hamstring injury just to get out of the camp that most veteran players hate. As a matter of fact he's a cancer, and he's never going to get his timing down with Bledsoe.

After Sunday's game I remembered what we got when we invested in T.O. We got an absolute warrior who goes on the field and gives it 100 %. The way he ran routes, blocked, and abused the Jax corners was amazing. All this for a man who missed 'practice'.

Anyone recall the play where he burned Brian Williams and Bledsoe underthrew him? Or the three catches that he had that were brought back by penalties. The bottom line here is that the only person on the field yesterday that played an almost flawless game was the man that we were all complaining about for missing...

practice.

Owens looked great, but it was apparent that he and Bledsoe don't have their timing down. They could have used lots of practice together.

I'm not saying that Owens was faking an injury. My guess is that it was smart to let that hamstring mend. But the missed practice time did hurt the team.

T.O. had two plays where he was wide open for TDs... The streak down the right sideline where Bledsoe underthrew him badly, and the post in the middle of the field where he overthrew him badly.

You're NFL QB you've been playing this game for almost half your life, and you can't hit wide open receivers?

hes still out of it from that shot he took from minnesota

Here's an idea: Just throw the ball somewhere on TO's side of the field and let him go get it. Worked late yesterday

I guess he needs to get his timing down with Witten too considering Bledsoe missed a WIDE OPEN Witten!

Witten is a cancer because HE WILL NEVER GET HIS TIMING DOWN WITH BLEDSOE.

The hatred for TO apparently affects some people's vision to where they can't see anything else that's happening in the game!

ask mcnabb and stallworth how long it takes to get the timimg down. bledsoe just needs to hit open receivers.

T.O. easily could've had a 150 yard 2 TD game Sunday... The anti-TO guys on this board have to be thankful Bledsoe played so poorly, because God forbid we have some positive threads regarding the cancer.

bledsoe can't throw for S*** anymore. put in romo, and lets get this thing fired up. LETS PUT THE Commanders IN THE 0-2 HOLE!!! give T.O. the damn ball.

couldnt say it better, GIVE T.O. THE DAMN BALL

It's not just about whether a player plays good or bad. It's playing as well as possible. And practice helps players perform at their peak.

But if a player is hurt he can't practice and it was smart to let TO's hamstring heal.

He'll get better as the season moves along, and guess what, it'll be because he's practicing.

TO was responsible. Once he finally got out there we hadn't had time to figure out what to do with the other guys on the field with him there. We were unprepared. Suddenly it all became about TO (like it grantedly should be), but we weren't prepared and didn't know what to do with Glenn and Witten, or how our run game would be best utilitized in this set-up. It's what comes from missing practice and preseason games. Had TO been out there more, many of these wrinkles would have been long since ironed out.

I don't blame TO, I'm just saying that's what happens. The playbook may have been planned for, just never implimented in a true in-game situation. Sunday was the first time. No different then trading for a player midseason, just takes a few games to get everybody out on the same page.

We saw it though, TO is a vast improvement at the positon over anything we've had here in a long time, he proved that his first game even when we looked like were running around like chickens with our heads cut off and he hadn't played in the longest time. We'll get it together, though I think we saw a prelude to one thing that is going to suck.. We won't have enough balls to go around to 3 primary receivers, let alone a 2nd TE added into the mix, someone is going to be edged out here with the amount of balls TO is going to get. His first game when nobody really even knew what they were doing, he still took it all away from the others; just wait until he's really shown us what he can do. I believe Witten gets his, but no bets where anyone else is concerned. Terry may actually have to work really hard for his this year. 2-3 balls thrown his way, per game, could be about right. I mean figure in the 2-3 more balls that will eventually start going Wittens way, the 4-5 more balls that will start going TO's way, RB screens, Fasano, where is anything left? I figured if Terry was going to do anything this year opposite of TO, that we would have started to see it in game 1 where he held the title of "most familar" receiver. That wasn't the case though as we all saw. As more and more balls are distributed, #83 is the forgotten man.

The thing I noticed is how you can't bump him, he was just throwing the corner it was like get out of the way smurf, and if you didn't notice they still can't cover him my thoughts just throw him the da$% ball!!!!

Excuse me, but where is this TO hatred?

Seems to me the only people offering these posts are TO supporters who want to take the opportunity to say "See, I told ya so."

Even the so-called TO haters have put all that stuff behind them to focus on the season.

Even the so-called TO haters have never expressed any doubts about his ability to play or his talent level.

So where are these TO haters?

Seems to me like the TO supporters don't want to give it a rest.

Good post.

TO could have easily had 3 TD's and 150 plus yards.... those days are coming....

l hear ya but.... I dont think that those Drew INT's were a result of TO-Drew timing being off.... (yes I sould have liked them to get more practice together but I dont believe that was what was happening here)

Drew had a bad game.... it will get better....
