This is lowest of lows. UCLA had two weeks to prepare for a bad Arizona team with an interm head coach. Rick needs to be FIRED!

This game was like a recruiting battle for Mike Leach. Both would be attractive programs for him

I am Leach, I pick Arizona....less pressure to win right now, less media scrutiny, and he wouldn't have to be stuck in California.

I don't know, it hinges on whether he's happily married and wants to live in a sparsely populated desert, or if he's single and wants to be surrounded by blonde bimbos 24/7.

oh yeah and also money.

i would pick UCLA, better recruiting ground, more money and resources, and he GETS to live in california.

LA weather ∞> arizona weather outside of flagstaff

He is rumored to be one of the candidates, as is Sonny Dykes who was on OC here, Paul Chryst, and a lot of speculation Greg Byrne will try to go get his friend Chris Peterson from Boise State. Stoops made 1.4 million per year. Byrne has up to 15 million to work with. He could make Peterson one hell of an offer. If that happens or Chryst, I am becoming a season ticket holder again.

Dont be so sure that any coach could make more money at UCLA. The athletic department has been cheap in hiring coaches. UCLA does not include housing in their compensation packages and they do not allow any boosters to add any monies to a coaches contract. Add in the cost of the on going construction of the new Pauly Pavilion that the athletic department has taken on and it gives them a good excuse to continue to do business as usual.

Arizona air > LA air

Arizona traffic > LA traffic

Arizona = little earthquake danger
LA = great earthquake danger

Arizona = no intracity recruiting competition
UCLA = USC's recruiting scraps

Isn't Paul Chryst from Wisconsin? If so, he is the guy I wish was the Longhorns OC/Asst. HC.

Yes, and he was almost Jason's OC here.
