I don't have any illusions that Kupp is going to light the league on fire. But at least we'd have a quality, veteran starter at a position that is pretty damn awful right now. This seems like it should be really easy--toss the Rams a 7 and you've got your second WR for 2025.

He's several steps removed from that season. Injuries have aged him quickly. He could definitely bounce back but he fell off the earth in the 2nd half of the season, and that was in a pass heavy Rams offense.

There are, but I don't understand those rumors. When Diggs got hurt last year, my understanding is that his injury guarantee for this year kicked in, making his base salary fully guaranteed. If so, there is no benefit to cutting or trading Diggs. We could designate him a June 1 cut, but his dead cap hit would not change at all; it would just be spread over two seasons.

Could be, but Jerry's not big on eating money if there's no savings involved. Now, I could see them shopping him for a pick, because if they got something in return, it might make it worth it to eat his contract.

Wait for him to be released. Don’t give up any asset and be able to offer a more appropriate contract if you’re interested in signing him.
