Just a fun topic, rank the QBs by what you project their career's production will be major ones/sleepers in your opinion.

1. Matt Stafford. (Elite QB mindset, will to win and the lions are building the team around him, will boast a lombardi and possibly a MVP in his career.)
2. Josh Freeman (Your going to think im nuts for putting Freeman this high, but he showed flashes last year with no talent around him, he now has Arrelious Benn and Mike Williams, both of whom are beasting it up in OTAS and if both translate to the NFL well, the buc's passing game is going to be deadly in 2011 onward.)
3. Tim Tebow (maybe not as a QB, but I like him alot more than Bradford and the rest of the choices on the board except for Snead but I won't put him this high.)
4. Sam Bradford (2 shoulder injuries going #1 overall, come on now. He'll be a hasselbeck, without the all-pro.)
5. John Skelton (Leinart will suck, Derek Anderson is not a NFL QB and Skelton will be the Cardinals starter at some point in the 2010 or 2011 season, unless they get Jake Locker of course)
6. Jimmy Clausen
7. Mark Sanchez
8. Colt McCoy
9. Matt Nichols
10. Jevan Snead.

look for #8 to steadily move up the charts and eventually be in the top 2-3.

You guys will call me crazy, but I think Tim Tebow will be a Pro Bowler one day. Just got a feeling.

I also don't think you're crazy for your high ranking of Josh Freeman. I think he's got talent but I'm not sure he's going to get the kind of QB coaching he'll need in Tampa.

Matt Stafford will not win a Super Bowl, not in Detroit.

Clausen will be out of the league in 5 years, along with McCoy.

I think Dan LeFevour will be the top dog of them all.

Detroit is building the right way, doesn't seem to be making many mistakes.

If both Suh (which I think will bust) and Best are hits this year, the Lions will be a good team. Sounds wrong doesnt it?

Not too wrong - the Lions were pretty good in the 80s and early 90s.

You're right about the Lions, though...but they're going to need Pettigrew to come around at TE and they have holes all over their defense beyond the front 4.

so glad you dont work for the boys. if suh busts ill bow down and kiss your feet and and defend any crazy *** player assessment you throw out from that point on. the only way suh busts is a career ending injury

I wasnt around then, :laugh1: .
They were terrible for so long, and are looking to be headed in the right direction. 4-5 more years of doing what they've been doing and they could be one of the best teams in the league.

2 knee surgeries so far. I believe he will be a stud for 1-3 years, then fall down to earth and be a average/middle of the road player.

Brian Price/Gerald McCoy are my favorite DTs in the class, and because of it I believe the bucs will be deadly.

Now there O-Line is not that terrible, and if the Jets Hype Machine can have people believing Sanchez is anything more than a bust, The Lions best be celebrating in the streets because Stafford outperformed Sanchez every week he played IMO

Detroit has the right idea. If Stafford even becomes a good QB, he will have Smith and Best as a 1-2 punch with Johnson and Pettigrew being a nice tandem.

I think Tebow has the worst chance of success because Denver's offense isn't geared to make a QB look good. However, he has the drive to potentially make something out of his time there. McCoy has the best chance to fail because he is in Cleveland. C'mon... Holmgren did him so wrong drafting him in the 3rd and not using his 1st to barter him some help. Clausen is in the best initial position because of the toys he has on offense. It'd be hard for him to fail right off the bat. As for Stafford, until the Rams make strides in sealing that offensive line and receiving corps, he cannot be held responsible for their ineptitude.

So, my ranking is for the big four from 2010.

1) Clausen
2) Tebow
3) Bradford
4) McCoy

As for the '09 class, the Sanchise belongs above Stafford. He may have had bad games but he was raunchy and got it done for the Jets.

Sanchez belongs at the top of this list.

He will be the best QB out of all of them.

Sanchez made it to the AFC Championship, though. Matt Stafford led his team to a win over the Commanders.
