Smith's Tulsa film was a wild ride, a multitude of All-Pro caliber wins and more holds than most seventh-round picks. But he stepped in like an established veteran in Year 1, even manning the left tackle spot after earning a guard gig through the summer. Bland, the inauspicious fifth-round pick from Fresno State, snagged five picks as a rookie. Williams was buried behind the likes of Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence but chipped in with 22 pressures on fewer than 200 pass-rush snaps. Even Ferguson showed a glimmer or two of receiving ability at tight end.

our drafting expertise is close to # 1 every year for last few years....if we could open wallets and learn how to just be 50% as good getting free agents...i mean we find really good bottom of barrel free agents

but dang look how Philly last 5 years have been to 2 super bowls because of their free agents during offseason along with picking pretty good too

our drafting expertise is close to # 1 every year for last few years....if we could open wallets and learn how to just be 50% as good getting free agents...i mean we find really good bottom of barrel free agents

but dang look how Philly last 5 years have been to 2 super bowls because of their free agents during offseason along with picking pretty good too

A few among some bad ones (like James Washington) and some that are just OK contributors. We're mainly just getting contributors and hardly any standouts like Kearse has been. Got to fill out the rotation, but it would be nice to get a couple of guys who are more than just fillers.

They usually draft well, but when they miss they have zero answers as they don't use either fa or the trade market to roster builder, more about finding low-cost band-aids.

LOL. They draft well.

You cannot build your entire team thru the draft only.

One day. You have to pay those great players you drafted. And when you miss on second rounders because that's your "gamble round" it negates anything else. The reason this team reached for Kelvin Joseph is because they refused to use FA to sign a CB.

I dont really care if you take us seriously or not. There are ways to build teams and ways not to. And I have 28 years of history to prove the method Jerry and company are using. DOESNT WORK!

Our drafting is the only thing that keeps us relevant. The one bright spot we have.
