9 minutes ago - Former NFL scout Dave Razzano was also not very complimentary on the top two cornerback prospects, LSU’s Patrick Peterson and Nebraska’s Prince Amukamara. He said that Peterson wasn’t physical enough for his size and noted how Amukamara got beat badly against Oklahoma State. 49ers RapidReports

17 minutes ago - Former NFL scout Dave Razzano on Texas A&M OLB Von Miller: “He doesn’t have a motor. He doesn’t chase hard. They run at him and he doesn’t fight off blockers. When he gets sacks a lot of times he’s not getting blocked. He’s a one-move guy.” 49ers RapidReports

21 minutes ago - From another perspective, Dave Razzano, a former scout who spent over 20 years in the NFL, compared Texas A&M OLB Von Miller to one of the all-time draft busts. “He’s got some (Jets DE) Vernon Gholston in him,” Razzano said of Miller

LOL ... Poor guy name is now synonmous with the word bust ..

honestley i never heard of this razzano guy before wonder if he had a few cocktails before they stuck a mic in front of him :D

I wonder what he thinks about J.J. Watt as a top 10 guy.

This guy stated that Chris Long was over rated before he went number 2.

Honestly, I'm not quite sure how Miller is going to turn out, but IMO only, I don't get the hype. I mean, I hope he goes early to AZ or somebody else to enhance the chances of PP landing in Dallas, but if it was " my " choice, I wouldn't pick him anywhere near in the top 20, maybe even 1st round at all.

I may end up with egg in my face and he turns out to be a stud, but I just don't see it. It might be my prejudice against 4-3 OLBs that's clouding my judgement, but that's what I see him as.

I kind of agree with him in that I don't think Peterson is as good as the hype, but that doesn't mean he's not good.

Just go to youtube and look at Prince's game against OK. St. He gets burned alot and unless the scouts see a correctable flaw it looks like he would be quite a reach with the 9th pick.

I see Von miller doing what a lot of lbs do. He seems to get to the ball carrier real quick. And he could get to the qb even quicker.

I would love Dareus to fall right to us. I have feeling that teams see him falling will jump ahead of us and nab him. But maybe that makes one of the other blue chips fall to us unless its a WR.

You have to be very careful with that. The collegiate game is a different breed and top WRs often beat top CBs in college. That doesn't remain the same on the next level where pass rushes as totally different and there is so much more speed around the CBs to shrink the field for the offense.

This gets brought up yearly as knocks against the top CB prospects.

The truth is most teams double or triple-teamed Blackmon where Nebraska singled him with Prince. That game featured 92 points and Nebraska won it by 10 in the end. Blackmon was impressive but OSU rushed for over 200 yards and didn't reach 300 passing so remained balanced. Blackmon did a lot when he caught the ball but he did only catch 5 of them.

I think Prince Amukamara might be most over-rated player that will be taken in top 12. If you watch him...he gets abused in coverage but is great in run support (this is not suprising considering he is converted RB who can anticipate run well). Some NFL team late in 2011 is gonna wonder what they were thinking by taking him that high. Also...he had zero Ints in 2010...I think it should be mandated no CB can be drafted in top 15 if he couldnt pick off a single pass in his last college season.

Agree with JT. I'm an NU fan and still am wary of how good Prince really is, but that OKie State game is getting way too much weight. Maybe people don't realize that Blackmon is an absolute stud himself and would beat many NFL corners if truly left on an island.

This reminds me of all the talk when Jordy Nelson blew by Talib in college. Didn't mean Talib couldn't play.
