I think if we add a vet LB at this point it’s after the draft as depth if we don’t draft someone we’re excited about. Pretty much where I think we’re at for all positions at this point outside of 1 tech.

Myles jack has degenerative knee issues. He flashed briefly but he won’t be signed by anyone imo

Added veteran depth to add, as we added Barr last season??
It seems that Evans should be able to get a decent contract or at least a decent 1-year deal.

Rashaan Evans
6-3, 232 (draft weight)
decent arm length & big hands
Has only played 5 years in the NFL.
Has started 67 regular season and 4 post season games.
Age 27
Career high in total and solo tackles in 2022.
Started all 17 games in 2022 and played 98% of the snaps.

Myles Jack is done. He’s just a name with terrible stats
He has always had the knee issue including when he signed a 57M contract in 2019.

His 2022 stats were close to his career average.

In 2022 his solo tackles per start stat was better than his career average.

He played 15 games and 71% of the snaps in 2022.

I'm not suggesting the that Cowboys should sign him, but it seems that he has some ability remaining.

Be a nice player to have but likely to get a decent paycheck

He did have a strong last season and he also has some pass rush abilities.

We can let him have a good season then make him the highest paid ever then watch him be bad

Let's se what happens in the draft. Last thing I want is another big recognizable name that doesn't pan out. Barr was ok but just a band-aid.

He’s Jaylon Smith. All sizzle not steak.

He offers little upside against the run, and allowed opposing pass-catchers to post a 41-363-3 line against him. Jack has consistently struggled against the pass and has 1.5 sacks over the last four seasons.

They’ll probably make some moves after June 1. Will have that extra space.
