Dak said early on this spring that he wasn't going to hold out because he didn't want to pay the fines. With the fear of a holdout gone, a smart person would have let him play out his contract and try to earn the big pay day. Now, with the way the contract is structured, guaranteed money and an NTC, there's no incentive for him to try to do better or even give a damn if he wins or loses.
No, I don't think Dak will leave on his own. The only way he would consider it is if he decides to go after a championship, but that doesn't look like a priority right now. He's fat, happy, and content, and unfortunately Jerry seems the same way.
