-Cowboy rushing offense disappears against top competition.
-Their run defense is very hit or miss, where teams have had success running right at Parsons.
-Pass rush is no where to be found against top Offensive Lines

Both the Eagles/49ers have dominate run games that travel, all their big passes plays come off their success running the football.
Both defensive fronts are loaded with multiple pass rushers in a deep rotation, Cowboys have 1 player legitimate rusher on the entire team.

If the Cowboys truly want to compete against the top of the conference, that have to get better inside the trenches to do so.

And before anybody rushes to say “but Dak is the issue”, please remember 2 THINGS CAN BOTH BE TRUE!!!!

You forgot to mention the part about their front offices need to win to maintain their jobs.
It’s amazing how FO that actually have to be accountable do things vs. Dallas’ FO - draft a QB 3rd overall, and trade him just 2 years later…ironically to the ONLY FO that lacks accountability.
:lmao:

Read this as the Trenches are more physical, Cowboys is finesse team

That certainly is part of the issue. They are starting to make changes recently, but still a long way to go.

Nah.

You are underselling Hurts and Purdy. We held McCaffery in check and he torched us w 4 TD passes

Teams go into the game trying to stop our run game and Dak still cant beat them
but if dak throws even shorter passes, say 2 yards he will have better stats and we can proclaim him to be elite. yeah dakie...

In the last 3 game against the 49ers, we haven't been able to run against them at all.

Spot on. I also want to point out that BOTH franchises missed when drafting QBs top 5 in the draft in recent memory and that did NOT set either respective franchise back like so many claim happens when you miss. Not saying that would not set most franchises back in the NFL...but not them....because they have REAL NFL front offices.

Having strong trenches overcomes weaknesses at other positions. As a GM, you don’t simply fill starter positions with quality players; you build depth through the draft and/or FA. Then when injuries occur or big contracts are due, the next man up is ready and capable. Both Lynch and Roseman have figured this out. Our GM is more concerned about selling snake oil.

It all starts at GM. The GM is/should be your top football guy. Lynch vs Roseman vs Jerry. We have absolutely NO chance
