Red and white star on Android... What is it?

So this just started showing up in the upper left corner of my Thunderbolt. It shows a white star with a red dot in the center. When I pull the bar down it has an ad for something. Why is this showing up and how do I get rid of it? Anyone know?

Did you recently downloaded an app? It is an ad pushed onto an app, and is very annoying.

Download "AirPush Detector" app to identify source of ad and to delete the ad.

Yeah I did, a couple of apps. I will try that.

Edit: Just did that and it was the DeMarcus Ware Live wallpaper that did it.
