He's one of my favorite players, but I think he has too much freedom. He needs a coach who isn't his friend the way kellen is. How do you listen to a guy who was your backup.

I've said this for awhile, Dak has too much Romo in him. He's going to try and make every play a bigger play. He doesn't have a coach who I can see that's getting in his ***. A coach who is telling him cut the bull and take what they're going to give you.

In that niner game Purdy struggled for 3 quarters too. But he stuck to their gameplan and took what they gave HIM. When Dallas started to wear down he made a play. He wasn't better just more patient. But he does have way better coaches.

I think Daks biggest struggle with zone is the plays Kellen calls. As a poster I read here post, Kellen calls comebacks and outs religiously. And alot of them in bunch formations. So the cbs are sitting off the ball already in position to jump the throw. The good cbs will see this coming and make easy plays. And that's what we saw the last 9 weeks. Yes there are times when it's just a horrible Dak decision like the int vs Washington and the 2nd int vs the niners. Those were some of the worse throws I have ever seen. But Kellens scheme is the biggest problem.

Dak needs a guy like Parcells. When Dak is throwing them bad passes, I hear Parcells telling Romo, "Tony you gotta have a mental clock in your head. If it's not there get rid of it. Throw it in the stands idc, because a throw away is better than a negative play".

Niners were off balance in the first half because Dak was running. In the 2nd half he was toast. Dak was rattled when pollard got hurt, when he saw that Elliot couldn't move the ball he should've taken a few runs to keep the niners honest. That would've kept them honest. Because all they didn in the 2nd half was sit on the routes because they knew Dallas didn't have the speed threat in the backfield. Imo they should've played Davis for a change of pace. But I don't think he went into the game. Did he?

Dak needs Zeke gone and more Pollard. Think about it. Both game against the #1 defense in the NFL two years in a row Dak had to try and beat them with Zeke and almost no Pollard.

Davis was in the game when that Niner came free off the edge and almost took the handoff but luckily it was a designed play action. Would have probably been a fumble otherwise.
Ok thanks. Didn't remember that. But he should've been in to try and give them a spark running. If the play calls for a rb to pass block I want Elliot in there not davis.

I see what you are saying but his interceptions are not gambling deep ones…they are 5 yard outs where he is missing the defender completely. Heck there are 5 dropped picks for every 1 that gets picked. To me he isn’t seeing the game vs gambling

You are trying to show who Dak is by using the results of a few games. You have to look at the whole 7 years he has been here. This team cant get anymore Dak friendly. He is who he is, changing everyone around him will change the team (again) but it wont change him.

Which exactly why the zone works because of the comeback route. Because the cb is most likely at or near the spot where the route will break. Makes it a easy int. I think he sees the field just fine. We see him make some great throws all the time. I just think in tight moments he's going to try and force it in there instead of throwing it away. Because he wants to be the hero. See the way Purdy was throwing it away alot.

If you look at his 7 yrs then you see so much more good play from dak. Yes his bad play stands out because if he has a bad game the media is going beat that drum 24-7 the whole week. There isn't any player in any sport that's has more pressure on them then the QB for the Dallas Cowboy.

Yeah that’s just called ignorance.

If Dak made less money then it would be fine.
Why is it ignorance? Because I like a player and I don't care what you think about him? It's my preference. See this is why people here don't like you because just cause you don't agree with what players I like I'm ignorant? You don't have to like my choices, I'm not trying to push my thoughts and likes on you.

The other reason those interceptions are so bad is because they are 5 yard outs depending on where it happens it essentially gives a short field for the opponent and literally hanging the defense out to dry

Pollard will not hold up in a game for 20+ carries. They need someone to back him up.
