Video: Regular season less playoffs

Exactly. Teams pay franchise quarterbacks to get them into the playoffs on a regular basis. And in the playoffs, a defense has to be strong enough to carry the teams into a Super Bowl. Peyton Manning couldn't win jack crap with the Colts until the defense got better.

This is exactly what I’ve been preaching about this team for years. It’s about the opportunities. You can’t win the SB if you’re not in the playoffs year after year. That’s what Mike did well at GB. He gave them a chance year after year. Same thing, Landry did, Bill B, Tomlin, Reid, etc etc. You may not win it every year but at least you have a chance. This team should always be in the hunt just like when we had Landry for 20 years. Wasting time on JG and other bone head coaches was a waste of time.

Although losing to the 49ers in the playoffs last year sucked, it was good experience for this team and hopefully they can use that this year....we need 2 playoff wins...anything less and it's a disappointment
