I can't figure out why people like Kingsbury so much. They usually hate "retreads" and Kingsbury has never won anywhere.
I guess because Daniels is so good, but who is to say KK should get credit for that. Maybe he'd do as well under any other competent OC.

how about the flip side of that coin how do we know that Ben Johnson with a absolutely loaded team all in lions team all those players over there dynamic fast deep one of the best offensive lines in football, maybe it wasn't him maybe it wasn't Aaron Glenn maybe it had nothing to do with Cohen maybe it's just the players maybe we just need better players and it doesn't matter who our coaching staff is...
hmmmm ah yes the philosophical delve into all these unproven players that everyone says is better than shottheimer but no one has any real proof zero there's 0 proof just like most people wanted Urban Meyer over Mike McCarthy they wanted anybody over Mike McCarthy that year that he was hired and not one of them were better it turns out Mike McCarthy was the most successful hire of 2020....
So you gotta love it ,because now you can't have a debate about this because now I can say Ben Johnson is overrated until he proves otherwise, he could fall in that category and so could Aaron Glenn and Cohen first time head coaches without the same talent without the same support from the same coaching staff now you're alone and you have to build your own staff you have to build your own roster..
They can end up like Bobby petrino ,Urban Meyer, Nick Saban, and Chip Kelly along with other names that we know failed after one year there's a whole list of those that never made it happen... I mean we can add I don't know some of the best coordinators that we've seen leave their coordinator jobs like Robert Saleh that you have on your list and then he failed as a head coach wade Phillips failed as a head coach for the most part I mean a lot of these dudes were better coordinators than they were head coaches so that leaves me to why would you think one of those coordinators are gonna be better than schottenheimer other than what you may think your eyes have seen?
No one here with a straight face can say those are better hires until we look 3 or 4 years down the road and find out who actually was the best hire and then we have to look at it like who is their GM and owner did they support the coach with better players that they put a better roster out there we have to remember that the only way to prove who was better was to wait this is just like the draft this is just like free agency we must see how those players workout down the road not now because right now it's all opinion everything that's being talked about those players are only the hot coordinators because somebody said it somebody labeled them that they have no proof just because they're the hot name they're the flavor of the month that doesn't make them the best that just makes fans happy because they feel like they got the best of what was available and that is not even true until it is..
I'm not promoting Schottenheimer but kliff Kingsbury at least he did fail as a head coach went back now, he can humble himself now he has more information and maybe he learned something you know what I mean maybe this time around he's going to be better...
