Just wondering, what playoff scenario would need to happen to meet the Lions in a Re-match if we were in #5 or by a miracle #2?

That was generally an entertaining game. The Lions are much improved, got good weapons and good coaching. Cowboys have players and can obviously play with them.

I would assume at #5 if it worked out we'd obviously go to Detroit. Not sure I'd mind too much. Similar non grass field. So maybe we'd be able to give it a go.

Would this be a game you'd like to see? I enjoyed the game tonight.

Don’t think it really can unless us and Philly lose another game and they win out. Trying to get the 2 seed.

Otherwise Detroit is prob playing the 6 seed. They win they’ll go to Philly.

I mean theoretically we could play them if we’re the 2 seed. But that’s prob it

Not sure I would want to play them in Detroit.

I don't see that ending well for the Cowboys.
Yeah I mean we keep saying that about every team for the road but those two teams seems to match up pretty decent. I guess the foreign field is going to be a problem anywhere?

Detroit played very loose tonight. They playoffs are a different animal and the Lions have little experience.

this is a complete joke repeated by the media.

no such thing, you never know who ll get hot or which player just has a great game. a player haveing a great game can change a game.

you dont need play off experience, heck the cowboys could have tons of play off expeirence and still be bounced out of the first round.

I'd rather play Detroit again then Seattle. Seattle is dirty **.

If we are the 2 seed, all that needs to happen is Dallas and Detroit both win in the wildcard round. Then we would host Detroit in the divisional round. Detroit is locked into the 3 seed unless Dallas and Philly both lose out.

I don't care as long as the Cowboys win. It's tough to win in the NFL. Don't care if it's close. Don't care if it's a blowout. Don't care if they play in the Walmart parking lot. As long as the Cowboys beat them for the seventh time in a row, I'm good.

Philly loses to Rams
Detroit beats Seahawks
Dallas beats Bucs

Rams at 9ers
Cowboys at Lions
Buccaneers, Rams, and Seahawks -- although they're in the drivers' seat --- all three teams have not officially qualified for postseason berths.
Tampa Bay: appears to have the easiest path - home v. New Orleans, @ Carolina
Seattle: hosting Pittsburgh, then on the road playing Arizona...looks favorable with the Steelers QB situation
Los Angeles: away games in New York and San Francisco - wouldn't be surprised if they lose both

I'd kinda like to see Stafford and the Rams play Detroit in the 1st round. Stafford beating them in Detroit would break them.

I tend to agree! I almost feel like Dallas was just flat out lucky to get that win because Detroit scored more points in the second half and had some explosive run plays. Dallas offense had that one big play to CD when it should of really been a sack. That LB didn't wrap up Dak , he just tried to throw a shoulder at him and missed.

It’s very possible and we could even see them at home again if we get the 2 seed. If we are the 5, it will depend on upsets in the wildcard round
