How many players during his era of coaching with Brady did guys get market setting deals?? He got guys to play for him and to buy into the system they were in. Wouldn't that be good here??

It sounded great at first. Every hour that goes by I realize that Jerry not only won't meet with Bill (he'd want to much control, and Jerry will never be mad enough to give that up) but he's not firing Fat Mike, either.

But he also gets rid of players a year early versus 2-3 years too late...he could have a very good effect on Booger and Chuckles.
Lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol I love it lol!! Hey you can see things coming, some of these players just don't have it in them! Sam Williams, Mazi in year better be better

I don't think Belichick will be a good fit here in Dallas. He's everything the Jones boys aren't. Bill likes to sign other players, the Jones don't, we like to sign our own is their mentality. Bill likes to make trades, the Jones don't. I've read multiply articles and read several posts on this site saying the same thing...Bill does not draft well....To me, this is a bad mix and probably end in disaster. I think our best choice would be Harbaugh. He knows talent, drafts well and can build a team and knows how to build a coaching staff. But then again, will Jerry and sons give up any power to allow Harbaugh to operate. Another thing, by the time they decide if/when they're going to fire Mike, because they take a long time to make any decision all the best coaches will be unavailable.

Dak would have an edge with BB as coach: He'd know the defense's play pre-snap and the footballs would be softer and so easier to grip.

Dak's extension is next week! Stay tuned for that!

I would take BB for a couple of years in a heartbeat. And so should Jones at the age of 81 if he ever wants to see another Super Bowl. Say what you want about Belichick and the way he runs things but I can guarantee that if he ever coached this team you would never see them show up for a playoff game like they did against Green Bay. The Cowboys were as lifeless as any playoff team I've ever seen. It was like they invited 22 guys off the street to play that game. It was a disgrace to them and an insult to the fans.

The Cowboys have no shortage of talent. But preparedness, paying attention to detail and much more discipline are things they are well short of. None of these players fear for their jobs or being benched. Time for someone to kick butt and take names or else what you see is what we're going to continue to get. Let's see a new approach.

Bill B won't be coming here because he is a football guy first. He isn't the guy who is going to do radio shows during the season promoting the Cowboy brand. He also expects his players to not be involved in anything else during the season. Do you see that honestly flying in Dallas? The first time that guy says no to a player they are going to go to papa Jerry who will coddle them.

I don't think he is cheap, he just believes in a balanced roster. He definitely devalues the QB position more than he should.
