Remember how excited Micah was when we drafted Mazi?

I wonder how he feels now, was it worth it, should we have gotten someone else?

I am sure he feels fine and no they should not have drafted another player.

So your hate for Mazi continues.

Much better things to think about than this on a Saturday afternoon.

Micah doesn't care.

He's in his "gonna start missing games here and there until I get paid" phase of his career and couldn't care less about Mazi.
wait until the summer time when he misses camp AFTER he gets the bag, we'll really dislike him then!

Yep, I knew Micah couldn't evaluate talent at that moment.

The Cowboys have needed a high talent defensive tackle for years. This was the first high pick they used on a DT in decades. Would have been a great investment if the guy they picked didn’t stink.

Unless Micah has a role in Mazis struggles, I can't hate on Micah being happy the team drafted a DT.

Not like Micah busted in the draft room, stole the card and wrote Mazi over another player.

Mazi was good college player. He's not a good NFL player. Obviously, it was a horrible draft pick that we can't take back. The fact Micah was happy about it just means Micah can't evaluate talent either.
oh yeh , in hindsight, we can try to say that now as a horrible pick , simply beuz it isn't panning out .

- But it wasn't like Mazi was a mystery name nobody ... at draft time he was touted as the best run stuffing DT in the NFL ..and we were hurting
at run defense. It seemed like a sensible pick.

- It wasn't like it was a draft selection that did not make sense at the time.
And many upon many NFL teams miss on 1st rd picks.

- it was the 2nd rd pick from Michigan that i could not figure out at draft time, ..and it's coming back to haunt us. ( Schoonmaker)
Even to this very day , i ask - what was it about Ferguson's rookie year when he still showed flashes, that the club was so insistent compelled
to draft a " starting TE ?

Micah was right to hope for DT help.

Micah isn’t a scout though. So how could he know Mazi would bust?
