Report: Darrelle Revis, Jets Nearing $150 Million Deal

"The Darrelle Revis rumor mill reached overdrive this morning with the latest report coming from KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, near the two-time Pro Bowl cornerback's hometown of Aliquippa, Pa.

The station is reporting Revis is about to sign a 10-year, $150 million deal with the Jets, including a whopping $65 million in guaranteed money.

Revis has been holding out since the Jets opened training camp Aug. 1.

Rumors have abounded since Sunday, with Dallas Morning News columnist Tim Cowlishaw reporting that Revis' signing would be announced today."

Just curious, and I know Revis wont come close to seeing all this money, but how do owners give out contracts like this and turn around and cry poverty?
