Let the games begin.

The Albert Haynesworth drama with the Washington Commanders reportedly isn't over yet.

Haynesworth, the Commanders' $100 million defensive tackle who struggled to pass his conditioning test in training camp, is unlikely to start Washington's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys after a disappointing performance in the team's final preseason game, The Washington Post reported, citing unnamed sources.

Haynesworth participated in 49 of the Commanders' 55 defensive snaps on Thursday against the Cardinals but disappointed the Washington coaching staff with his apparent lack of effort, the newspaper reported. Two sources termed Haynesworth's performance in the game as "awful."

I still look for Fatboy to be INACTIVE against us. He and MS really don't like each other. Fatboy has been LAZY, UNPRODUCTIVE, SOFT, OUT OF SHAPE, AND HIS ATTITUDE IS TERRIBLE. He doesn't want to be with the Foreskins and they don't want him either but they're stuck with him because nobody else wants his fat sorry arse. Maaaan I luv it!! :)

Anyone else get the feeling he is doing just enough to keep that bonus and continue getting paid his salary. I think he knows that the skins will eventually be forced to cut him and he will get to keep every dime. Then he will get to go out and get another contract. I just get the feeling he is playing the skins for a fool and the way they are treating him is just making his attitude worse. This thing is not going to end well for the skins.

Impossible. On this very board, a Commanders fan assured me that Haynesworth was still the best tackle in the NFL, even better than our own Jay Ratliff.

If he had even 1/4 of the drive, dedication and endurance of Jay he would...well he does not so screw it and the skins. :laugh2:

You are dead on point with this. Fatboy and his agent know exactly what they're doing. He's showing up and participating and that's all he needs to do to get paid and honor his contract. His play against the Cards was absolutely EMBARRASSING. Foreskin fans can say what they want but Fatboy is winning this battle with MS and the midget... He's still getting paid while doing NOTHING. I LOVE IT!!!! :D

Shannie almost certainly is going to go to Danny Boy and tell him: "Its me or him"

I saw some of that game and it was pathetic. There were a few times that he was so slow out of his stance that the ball was already thrown before he got his hands on the offensive lineman. I was laughing the whole time.

Insanity! He should be right where he is.

1. Al got paid enough to keep him eating for at least another six months.
2. Anything, that makes Shanahan's job rebuilding the Skins is terrific
3. The circus will give us endless amounts of fun this year
4. If salary cap comes back before he's cut, we can amuse ourselves with Commanders cap hell for years to come.
