and make a run at the playoffs as a wildcard team. As we saw last year winning the division doesn't mean anything.

Not sure what this means, but are you suggesting we don't play Romo for the rest of the year?

If that's the case, I'd like to have some of what you're smoking. :bang2:

I disagree.

If Tony Romo is ready to go, he needs to step on the field and play.

I think what the OP is saying is.....

Lets play atleast one more game with Brad(resting Romo) and let this defense do it again.

Maybe 2 more games.

Oh and btw... I agree.

Yo Mick! I know you know this team's chances of winning in NY without Romo are none and less.

ROMO MUST START THIS WEEK.

I know the conventional thinking here was that we only need win one of these two games before the bye to stay in the NFC East race.
Although I can't discount that thinking, I do believe that the NYG winning in Pittsburgh is problematic.

If we lose to them we drop 3 games behind them in the standings and that's NOT good.

Why?

If we lose to the Giants next week, it doesnt not mean the end to the Season.

Winning the division DOES mean something and that should be our goal. Just because we blew it last year doesn't mean we should aim lower as a result.

If Romo can grip the ball and is ready to play, you have to play him, IMO.

If we're a bit lucky, maybe we can get Kosier, Spencer, and F Jones back soon as well.

Then we're only missing T New and Henry, but both of these guys should be good to go in a couple of more weeks.

Resting Romo and him coming back with us at 5-4 is better than playing him and getting hurt and getting to 6-3.

Agreed.
We get to play them twice... I guess some forget that.

It's just the end of our division chances.
