As always the Dak haters latest angle gets punted.

The fact six of his picks haven’t been on turnover-worthy plays — meaning passes that weren’t thrown into danger and likely should’ve been caught by his receivers — proves this narrative is being overblown.

Where Cowboys QB Dak Prescott placed the football on his overtime interception returned for a touchdown. A Monday morning conversation can be had about Prescott’s interceptions. But let it be an honest one. He was not the reason the Cowboys lost Sunday.

This stat is like saying look at the passes that 'could have' been intercepted but weren't. The fact is Dak has been credited with 11 INT's just like any other QB being credited with the INT's they have attributed to them. Just because you are a fan of Dak does not lessen the fact he has thrown 11 INT's this season.

The interception was fired right into Noah Brown’s chest, and would’ve went for a first down.

This dude is as blind as Dak in reading the field. It wasn't in his chest, it hit his forearm and even Dak said he "threw it low on purpose", meaning Dak didn't even hit Brown in stride.

Plus, it was tipped because of Dak's floating into the RDE, which is why Dak had to jump and try and get it over him, while throwing awkwardly across his chest.

This article also shows that they have no clue what they are talking about, because a lot of "other worldy" plays by defenders are because Dak's pocket presence is garbage and so are his mechanics, which often make it easy for defenders to hit his arm for example.

Anybody who a little bit about football knows that all interceptions aren't on the QB. But a stat is a stat and the stats show Dak isn't being as careful with the football like he has in years past.

Both Romo fans and Dak fans like to stick their face into the stats while the obvious stares them in the face. Both Qbs make crucial mistakes on 3rd and you need it. Which is why they don't win playoff games or championships.

Again it's obvious if people look, if the TEs and WRs catch the ball je has maybe 4 or 5 at most

While I agree he is not at fault for ALL of his interceptions. We cant sit there and not be concerned at the number of INTs thrown and some of the decision making behind them. He has made some very bad reads and thrown the ball into dangerous situations multiple times this season since he has been back.

Dak over Dallas fans don't care about Dak's turnovers.

Us Cowboys fans find it concerning and know that our season will end and the turnovers will be a major factor in it.

Exactly. This is all smoke and mirrors sleight of hand meant to distract and comfort us.

Look at Dak’s throw. INT’s aren’t what they seem. Dak is top ten!

All of this on a daily basis distracts us from what is the truth - actually being able to win a championship…which we can’t.

So come January haters will hate. Lovers will hide.

And so it goes….26…27…28 years and counting.

Hey! Look at Dak’s third quarter QBR!

Well, it's clear that last pick was not on Dak....however....

The bottom line is that this stuff always balances out over time.

Also, if we exclude picks that should not have been, should we include picks that should have been but were not?

The six picks that should not be counted as picks thing includes WR mess-ups AND great plays by defenders, btw.

But what about WR saves and defender-dropped picks? Dak had 3 dropped picks in one game earlier this year, for example. And I bet other QBs did too. Not just Dak.

just saying....it usually balances out

Its on odd year in that way. Probably has something to do with the change over in the WR room.

LOL. Gotta love people who dont research and go based on what they "see" even though what they "see" is what they want to.

Dak has 7 TDs to 2 ints in the second half of games. Moreover. To your point. He has 1 in the 3rd quarter. I believe there was a point where he didnt have an INT in the 2nd half until the houston game.

Here are some "Stats" for you.

Through 14 quarters of second half play Dak has completely annihilated opposing defenses.

  • 78 attempts
  • 73.1% completion
  • 701 yards
  • 6 touchdowns
  • 0 interceptions
  • 126.1 passer rating
  • 9.0 yards per attempt
Those stats are after the Colts game. So in 6 games. He didnt turn the ball over in the second half of a game. So you should really go google some stuff before commenting nonsense.

Either way. His interception totals are concerning regardless of if they are all his fault. I want him to get back to taking the easy play instead of pressing. Lean on the run game.

Much more bad than good. Picks happen all the time to all the great QB's. Bad throws as well. Its nit picking.

Tampa game was horrid. THAT game was Dak's fault. He hasnt had a game like that since. Not even close.

Now add in all the turnover worthy plays that didn't result in an interception because it's a heck of a lot more than 6. Stop with this BS already. He needs to cut down on the turnovers. If your eyes don't tell you Dak needs to play better you are blinded by your agenda or need help understanding Football. Dak's accuracy isn't as bad as many are stating this year IMO, but his decision making has been really bad. He has thrown too many balls into dangerous spots at times that didn't warrant it and he has missed a lot of receivers too. He needs to be better and he has been better in the past. But if he keeps playing the same way as he has so far this year, I think we will have trouble beating a good team in the playoffs, or really any team in the playoffs

Having to come up with random new stats to protect the putrid QB. What a joke.
