If Dak has 27 or less pass attempts, then the Cowboys win.

Obviously, this can only happen with a successful running attack. The three future Hall of Famers on the O-line have not really meshed so far but this is the week they put it all together

Well, keep in mind teams with the lead will run the ball more and teams behind will run it less. That might have something to do with this stat.

But overall, teams that run the football and stop the run do well.

75% of teams?

How can this be the "key" to the game when 1 out of 4 teams do exactly this and still lose?

The 3 future hall of famers are a fraction of their past. Well 2 of them are anyhow. we definately to rush for about a buck and half to have a decent chance. I do howber think the secondary can also be expolited

Also this number is inflated by how football used to be played. I would be curious to see what the number is for the current era of football.

Running the ball and/or chunk plays will do the job. If the defense can earn rush opportunities, the Cowboys can make this look like the Minnesota game or the Chicago game.

It's probably safe to say that if we have trouble running the ball.....not good at all.

I agree but I still think we can win even if we dont carve them up on ground it just becaoes harder. We certainly need both Dak and the OL to be much better than last week. receivers need to be better

First you need to prove you are able to pass , otherwise you're one dimensional and that makes things difficult.

Actually if Biadasz comes back I expect one future Hall of Famer, Peters, to go back to being a rotational player so Tyler Smith and McGovern can go back to their normal roles. And I think another week of working together will only help Martin and Tyron. My concern is the scheme more than the guys frankly.
